St. Vincet National Wildlife Refuge held an open house on the island for the public March 26, 2011.

Activities included, guided tours, wildlife exhibits, phtography, history and birding prsentations, live music, art and land management practices and free snacks (hotdogs, fruit and water).

Several hundred people rode the shuttle over to the island and enjoyed a beautiful and relaxing day learning about the Refuge.
