Mrs. Jones fourth grade class at Grace Christian Academy in Bainbridge, Georgia enjoyed a field trip to St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge on May 16, 2011.

About twenty students and nearly 14 adults were greeted by Ranger Lori Nicholson, Environment Education Specialist, and spent the morning in a coastal explorer program learning about birds, plants and marine life at the Refuge.

Ranger Nicholson and the students used glass bottom buckets, nets and seines to capture and study various forms of marine life found in the bay and sea grasses.
